Comedy Central Releases First Daily Show Commercial With Trevor Noah, Announces Premiere Date

 

Like it or not, August 6th is rapidly approaching.

On that day Jon Stewart will sign off The Daily Show and hand the desk over to incoming host Trevor Noah.

Today Comedy Central announced that Noah’s hosting duties will begin on September 28th — several weeks after the CBS debut of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (another Daily Show alum).

To mark the announcement, Comedy Central released the very first commercial to help get audiences ready for the transition.
